Finnish Esports League (FEL) is an esports company based in Finland, organizing a variety of multiplayer video game competitions with live broadcasts and at least 75,000 € in prize money for 2019. The company’s aim is to offer professionalism and continuity in the Finnish esports scene while providing quality entertainment for the constantly growing audience.

Leagues and tournaments are the two main forms of competition. The leagues consist of up to three tiers; the top-tier League, the second-tier Challenger League and the third-tier Open League. Currently FEL organizes the most significant national league in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the only national league in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege along with Blizzard-approved tournaments in Overwatch and Hearthstone. And there’s more to come.

Founded in 2015, FEL is a limited company owned by its staff. The chairman of the company is Jukka-Pekka Vuorinen, former CEO of the Finnish Ice Hockey League and the Finnish Ice Hockey Association. Vuorinen is one of the most experienced and well-respected executives in the sports industry in Finland. CEO Jussi Halme and the rest of the staff specialize in various areas such as sales, gaming, IT and editorial duties. Also working for FEL is a wide range of volunteers interested in gaming and esports.
